While the food scene in Boston’s Back Bay continues to change, there are some older reliables that still hold a stake in the neighborhood.
Speaking of steak, the Pat LaFreida grass-fed Angus beef Social Burger still brings the fans from far and wide to Back Bay Social on Boylston Street. However, much of the rest of the menu has recently been revamped.
Monday’s menu offers a build-your-own burger option that includes BBS’s great fries and two toppings for $10 and the bar offers build-your-own wine flights on Wednesdays. The Buffalo cauliflower works well for vegans or anyone who likes a satisfying snack or tantalizing warm-up to the main meal. Speaking of main meals, BBS now offers breakfast, with everything from build-your-own omelets and fruited pancakes to a “treatment” of chicken and waffles that is sure to fix you up all day. At night, be sure to grab the gang and order the It Takes Two to Tiki, which is served in a glistening copper flamingo.
It’s Back Bay It’s Social. It’s all good!
